Boar surveyed his surroundings sniffing the air traveling on a faint breeze.
He hopped onto a patch of bare land that was surrounded by tall grass as not to be seen by any of his prey.He was so weak and hungry from his traveling,the smells of rabbits,mice,and a young buck nearby nearly drove him howling mad."Now," He thought to himself,"Just gotta spot something."

Let's see ... getting on into winter now ... hybernation and such ... ah, yes.
A few yards off from the wolf (surrounded somewhat by dead stalks of field grass) crouched a snow white hair, ears erect, eyes staring, unmoving as to give the predator no sign that she was there. Try as she might, she could not alter the changing winds over the plain that might carry her scent to him.. A longer distance away stood several deer, grazing some newly fallen snow for bits of food that had not yet frozen. They were small, but with long, slender legs and reflexes of lightening there could certainly be confusion should they choose to flee. It all depended on the predator's hunting skills and hunger...

The mighty brute had caught sevral scents of prey,which made him hugrier.He thought to himself,"I've lost alot of my strength because i hadn't had anything to eat in a while,so I couldn't down a deer...I'll try the hare."
Boar tenderly,and slowly found the hare.It was looking in his direction so he decided to wait to see if it relaxed...THEN he would pounce.About 5 minutes into this he gave up.
The brute lunged,aiming for the hare's back foot.
(Cough-took me a while i know.Sorrry bout the wait.Now,do i have to wait for you to see if my aim was true or should i continue and be succesful,or not succesful in the hunt?Hah,i still don't know..)

OOC: Yes ... you have to wait for me. Otherwise it would be too easy xD So far I haven't denied anyone food but it makes it more interesting. And I could get meaner lol
The brute's aim was indeed true, as the hare was caught by the leg and scrambled to get loose. However she remained caught in the wolf's jaws. She gave up the struggle and lay there -- It was up to the brute now to do as he chose with her...

Smiling,he killed the hare with a quick bite to it's neck.
He walked out of the hunting grounds to eat it though.Just incase another wolf would try to steal his prize.
